Wow...from 3.2 back to the 2.8 and the evap temps have gone way up again...

That 2.8M0 of mine produces so much heat my evap temps go down by a lot...

i had the 2.8 with 1.75V 24/7 and evap temps were like -51C idle at arround 4.1-4.2ghz

got that 3.2 of mine this week and at the same speed...4.2ghz i could see my evap temps get better to like -55C to -60C....with same vcore....

that higher fsb for the 2.8 is sure stressing my mach 2 GT a lot more... lol

its not all about voltage...

back with the 2.8 now and again evap temps are worse than with the 3.2

The relationships can probably be explained by some simple maths...

What would be interesting to know brw is are the temps different at the same bus speeds on both chips?

i havent tried yet to check guys...

well funny enough....evap temps are at -54C with the front cover on ....

but i am only running 3400mhz now burning in my ram ehhe

i will be checking soon guys...

i noticed the better 3.2C temps when i made the little mod to prevent the metalic frame from moving inside the plastic cpu kit that goes on the top of the mobo...
