At college and such where urls are filtered, you cant check your myspace/bebo at lunch or perhaps start a game of cs online due to the college's firewall/filtering thingy (will be learning what it actually is etc soon enough) but anyway, i asked for a proxy earlier on but it needs to be preinstalled/configured on my laptop before use as, from my experience they have already blocked all web based ones and stopped anyway of finding new ones (whilst at school anyway).
I have been lookin up some stuff and this came to interest..something called "openvpn". I have no idea how hard its gonna be to setup, or if its gonna be the best thing for me (ideas?). Im not the type who really needs to be filtered anyway, just would be nice to have a bit of freedom on my own laptop for free time.
