World shortage of Dow Corning DC4

In the absence of my preferred silicone grease, do you guys think this stuff would be a good substitute:

I was reading that vasoline is fine for around the socket but not inside as it has a pretty low melting point. So basically if the CPU gets the better of the phase or u forget to turn the phase on one morning, the vasoline will melt and ur pc will go *poof*

As for the sources of DC4 - cheers guys. I'd feel more comfortable with some.

I bought some yesterday along with some acrylic aerosol but wasn't sure if it wud be any good.
