Just had a look on the slidy screenshots, there is a slight difference but sadly the art style of this game still doesn't sell me at all, with or without rtx.

Thats exactly what im thinking, many turn down detail to enjoy smoothness in wow. With such little difference, its not worth the performance hit if any at all.

The videos I've seen it's a pretty big performance impact for little gain. Hopefully they will expand upon it over time and add more RTX to the game while increasing performance.
I am not an expert in RT but I would assume shadows are easier to implement than Global Illumination.
WoW engine isn't the newest kid on the block, and it has been reworked, botched, upgraded, and downgraded a million times. RT Shadows are probably the first step of adding full blown RT effects.
Blizzard is working with Nvidia on this so I expect more and more features to be added over time.
but it rapidly drops to around 2m I think. Its a fragment of its golden days of 13million subscribers. Many however are back to play classic. Not the retail version.
