I'm just having a vent here, so dont take offence if you are an Intelligent Female......But why are women so retarded when it comes to anything mechanical or technical?

My misus made a point of hovering up a load of hair and string a couple of weeks ago. As a result the brushes stopped turning, and the belt which drives the brushes burned out.

£15 was the price of a new belt which arrived yesterday.

I installed it. Great, clean carpets again!

Until she decided to hover up some cot sheets this evening! What happened? I bet you can F***ing guess.

LOL. I was thinking along the same lines as Kempez haha.

Anyway, so your wife can't handle the vacuum? heh.

I hate the smell of the belt when it starts to burn out, ugh bleh.

can not really agree with that.

a couple of days ago my sister opened the computer cleaned out all the dust and removed a cd-rom and put in a dvd-rw and it all works great.

cpu temp is down over 16celsius now and she has seen the inside of a computer 2 perhaps 3 times in her entire life.

most women i know and have meet has no or little trouble with mechanics and technical stuff.
 
Well maybe you live in an enlightened part of the world

Claire isn't afraid of Technology - she just isn't really into PC's to be honest. Therefore she doesn't know anything about them. Plus she is a little bit useless with mechanical stuff ;)

Agreed. I am on the oposite end of the scale. I've never met a woman that knows what a Phillips head screw driver is.:rolleyes:

My other half frequently uses the comp for study or work and time after time she asks me the same old questions.

ffs learn woman!! :D

Thankfully she can use the hoover ok
 
women dont know how to use anything mechanical technical because they dont understand how or why they work, they just know they work....
 
Yep gotta agree with you XMS, women and most things technological/mechanical is a dead set recipe for disaster. I won't post them here but Felicity has had her fair share of shall we say...'moments'

if you ever come ove rhere, dont ask for a philips.

not even many men over here knows what that is, goes under a different name and philips is almost never used.

haha I know the feeling dude. My girl and the vaccume dont mix. She tends to try to vaccume everything up.... socks ect... Then the belt breaks, you get the picture. When we buy new things like that I always stock up on spare parts for those moments
