Yea because larger textures are exactly what this game needs haha although I look forward to seeing what the community can come up with in terms of design that "fit" within the game, it looks stunning and some hodge podge texture pack would destroy the sense of cohesiveness this game has, at least imo, I put 112 hours into this game on my first play through and I cant recall once I thought a texture didn't fit or was too low res, outside of my personal preference of course (Them doublets :wacko

In all honesty going mental with HD 4K textures is not going to help global warming especially if you run dual fury cards or 290Xs :lol:

Jokes aside this is top news for the modding community and can't wait to see the results, I know a few modders who have been waiting patiently for these tools.

It could use some better textures in certain places. There are some walls, wooden pillars, NPC clothing etc. that could use sharper textures.

I honestly couldnt remember a single texture that looked like it needed more detail but maybe I'm going a bit blind or I just didnt look hard enough (Pretty much everything on Ultra,1080p GTX 970)

Wood is something that stood out to me. Looked sorta bad in comparison to everything else. Honestly this game is beautiful as it is, but modders will make it look even better so I see no harm in letting them make it more stunning

Ill have to go take a closer look when I get my GPU on Friday (currently rockin an Intel HD4000 wooop!) I hope this will allow brand new items that would be sweet!
