hi could i use this http://www.scan.co.uk/products/netg...d-range-improve-coverage-eliminate-dead-zones to take the wireless signal from an existing hotspot and repeat it out and at the same time connect 4 wired devices to it?

From the spec sheet I don't think you can as it doesn't support Wireless Distribution System (WDS).

it can be used as a ranger extender

and it says you can connect 4 wired devices doesnt say that it cant do both at the same time if it is set up as a range extender whats the 4 ports on the back doing?

I've just found the manual:-

Looks like it will do exactly as you want after all.
