Without any drivers installed on the image, it`s possible u could re-apply the image, start the machine - it`ll bluescreen or something - on reboot u`ll probably get it to boot ok.

Either that or boot straight into safe-mode and uninstall anything that points to ur older kit (vista`s own drivers).

I`d try it tbh.

hehe new OS 2009, need new kit for that too ?
