Hi

Windows seems to think its a hour later than it really is i have to disable daylight saving to get it to report the right time which makes windows media centre record for a hour extra and get all the times wrong on the guide.

how can i fix this please

ps sorry if its wrong forum didnt know where to put it.

Edit i have sorted the time but windows media centre has all the times on the guide wrong for when program start and stop how can i delete all media centre stuff and get it to start over again?

Set the time to the right time in the date and time settings?

yea right time zone

also every 10 minuets or so media centre will freeze for 5 seconds and then continue really annoying.

you might want to check for newer bios update and clear cmos. check your cmos battery and revert oc to optimized default bios settings. Download the latest driver again and reinstall without using driver sweeper. Also are you sure your power source is not being overloaded on any one rail by the new card?

if your problems vanish then try o/c until they return. with a sizable change in power from a video card you may find your old oc settings need adjustment to be fully stable again.

be sure and check the windows event log to see if there is any further clue on what is causing your issues.

i have a 1050W corsair PSU so i doubt that the problem, tried the driver re installation didnt work. put cpu and gpu back to stock didnt work either

could it be that there is just an issue with 7000 series and windows media centre?

cheers for the help

blair, what does your RAM in MOBO BIOS read as? is it correct spec for spec?

sometimes in overclocking the RAM info is "incorrect" the bus timings are enough

to let it pass. but now with the increased PCI lane activity, the managment of RAM

through the memory controller can be "distracted". looked at your rig specs and

another thought pops up, your sound card is PCI-e or PCI? if PCI-e you are on

the x4 slot?

lastly King of Sand had an issue and ended up using MS Fix-it and that cleared

up his video driver issue after install, reinstall, sniffer, ccleaner, etc.. finally drifted

to MS Fix-it and bamage.. was fixed. hed reported i believe a cross lnked driver.

Go back to Catalyst 12.3, I can't get WMC to work properly with the 12.4 drivers, It glitches and freezes quite regularly. for me anyway.
