Just wondering what people think about home server 2011? im thinking about setting up a server, mainly for storage between the 7 computers in my house, and wondering if this would be a good OS for the system? the main use is for movies/music so i can access them from any computer. also i dont realy have a monitor and stuff to dedicate to the server system, so is the remote access easy and good with home server 2011? any advice comments ppl have i would appreciate

Honestly if it is just for music/films I don't see why Windows 7 wouldn't be fine

As above you could just use Windows 7 and enable the Remote Desktop feature on the Server machine.

If its for storage use a linux distro such as ubuntu server and install samba. Thats what I have set up in my house anyway. Its a lot more lightweight than windows and its open source. You can manage the system with SSH which is much faster than remote desktop.
