Windows 8 features enabled won't boot ?

As above really, I've just had a play in my Bios, and realised that my W8 features aren't enabled, so I enabled them only after F10'ing out, only to find it wont boot and this screen pops up

I'm not running a high overclock 4.2 @ 1.2v ( 4760k ) with 1866 ram 2 x 4gb set at XMP, on an MSI MPower. Any ideas guys ?

Is there a setting which says something like OS\Windows Version?

In my BIOS there is a setting for the Windows version and there are 2 different windows 8 options which I can't remember what they are. But anyway, only one of them works for me and the other doesn't, if you have the same thing try the other option.

What board are you using mate?

I once did a Windows 8 client build on an MSI board and enabled the Windows 8 thing in the bios. I then could only install Windows 8 by setting the SSD to IDE.
Obviously I didn't do this, and Windows 8 works perfectly fine without this setting.

I got this 2 days ago when I build a PC, running windows 7. I just pressed ESC in the 5 seconds given and it was never to be seen again.

Never heard of a Windows 8 option in a BIOS? Hell my motherboard is older than 8 and has the BIOS update to support 8 but I have no option for that?

Si I disabled fast boot, and it gave me enough time to press escape, but after pressing it just stops at whatever seconds are left and then still says press any key to continue, with SHELL> so I press a key but nothing happens.

It look like it needs a command of some sort to continue ? I'm lucky I've got a go to bios button on board otherwise it would be stuck on the shell screen, even after a reset, or hard shut down.

if i was you i would go into bios and load defaults hopefully you saved the overclock settings. tbh you dont even need the so called windows 8 settings as most windows 8's are now 8.1 which negates it anyway its also probably whats causing your problems...
