will a third dedicated physx card draw my two 16x sli down to 8x

setup is like this:

2x gtx560 ti 2gb in sli on 16x

1x gtx260 862 mb - as dedicated physx card

in a GA-z68x-ud7-g3

with two 16x mode and two 8x

The difference will be negligible.

Dont do it. you will notice no speed increase, in fact you may actually get an FPS drop if anything. Linus did a video showing this on Youtube with 2 580s one for physx and there was no difference between that and just one 580 doing everything including physx.

it doesn't matter the different between 16x and 8x is so small you want miss it. You looking at a loss of 1 to 5 fps.

I don't think a dedicated physx card is required at all with 2 560ti's let alone having two dedicated physx cards.
