Wicd keeps killin my wireless network???

Anyone else have problems with Wicd killing your wireless connection at the router level in about 10 seconds after connecting?

I am running BackTrack 5 R1 on my laptop and for some reason it's doing this. I have to reboot my router for the wifi to reactivate. I can't explain it and this doesn't look to be a common problem after some google searching.

Anyone ever heard of such a thing?

After some more testing not only does it kill the routers WiFi it actually kills the internet connection as well, to the point that the internet light on the router goes out completely....

I ended up getting this problem solved.

For some reason the Intel AGN 5300 network adapter in my laptop + BackTrack + WPA or WPA2 causes some issues. After stepping my wifi security down to WEP it seems to all be running smoothly.
