whitch voltage reading is correct

hey ppl,just wondeirng what voltage reading for the CPU is correct as it would be good to no for my current OC

Check the bios, if its set to auto then set it manualy as 'auto' can change wildly including over volting.

looks like its approx 1.536v (or 1.54v rounded up in everest)

cpu-z is generally quite close. But the only way too get a 100% accurate reading is to break out a DMM.

For all those that dont abreviate everything in their lives Ham means a Digital Multi Meter

hmm well in the BIOS it is set to or close to the voltage in coretemp,i dont have a DMM to hand ime afraid

ham is correct...

when i buy a new board, i'll usually check what i select in the bios is close to the real voltage supplied by using a digi multimeter

if you have manually set the voltage in the bios and apps are way off, then it's usually safe to say the apps are wrong

have you tried the latest version of cpu-z ?

do you have a hardware monitor section in your bios?

i have a hardware monitor aswell,and i usally go off the bios but its just that so many of the apps are sayin the same voltage apart from coretemp
