Which Windows 7 Should I Get?

Which Windows 7 should I get? I've used Ultimate for the most part, but would professional be a better choice? Is it easier to run perhaps? Of course I don't need most of the things Ultimate gives me, but maybe I'll need some of them in the future? So which one do you guys think I should get? I mostly play games, I want to get into editing again, I watch movies and LOTS OF MUSIC. Don't think the last part matters at all, though.

So which one do you guys think I should get?

Professional 64-bit as the ONLY thing Ultimate gives you is interchangable language

How come not just getting the Ultimate then? Is Professional easier to run? How about Home Premium or what it's called?

Professional is cheaper so unless you're bilingual it's a waste. It's identical to Ultimate bar the multi-language enabled in Ultimate and not Professional.

I don't know anything specific but Home Premium lacks the full feature set that Professional and Ultimate have.

I think I'll go for Professional then. And I LOVE your signature!!!

TBH I do alot of what you do and I changed from Ultimate to Home Premium as there is less garbage that you will probably never use anyway and seems to run better oh and it's 64 bit. Even when I upgrade my Pc soon im going to stay with home premium.

if you get home premium you can only use at the max 16 GB of ram. Were professional and ultimate are like 162 GB of ram for the max. the cost different between ultimate and professional is only 20 buck. I'd go with ultimate if it was me, but that just me.

you will also get the xp mode in windows 7 professional, usefull if you still use some old applications that do not run on windows 7

Home premium can't join domains either. You need pro, ultimate, or enterprise for that.

Bitlocker drive encryption is only available on Ultimate and Enterprise.

But if your just gonna use your computer to play games, watch movies and listen to music, Home Premium is more than sufficient imo. So just look at the comparison charts and pick the cheapest one with the features you need.
