Which PC3200 Ram?

Hi guys,

this is my second post!

I will be buying some new ram very very soon. I have £160 max to spend.

I would like to hear your suggestions on which PC3200 2X512 ddr you would buy.

At the moment I was looking at the OCZ Platinium rev 2 and the Crucial Balistix. Im not really into Corsair memory.

Ive heard of some other brands such as Gskills, Kingston, Mushkin.

OCZ has stood out, many reviews recommend them for overclocking.

Thanks everyone.

AMD 64 3700+

DFI LAN PARTY 250GB NF3

This all depends on which multi you want to run at and which multi gives you the highest overclock. If you're running 10x and below I recommend some TCCD based ram such as the G.Skill LE. If you're going to run over 10x (max being 11x on your proccy I believe) then you should find yourself looking at some BH-5 or UTT based ram such as the Mushkin XP4000 Redline as you won't need the raw speed of 300+mhz 1:1 that TCCD gives you.

Muskin (u need a LOT of Voltage... oh that BH-5 :) ) as has been suggested OR some nice OCZ PLAT REV2 or GE. SKILL ... see what ebay can throw up :)

Another here for OCZ. Either get from fraggle, or take a look at our discounted OCZ store here on SX
