For getting my PC, I'm finding what mouse to buy the hardest part about it. IO'm going to list the 3 mice with a picture so that you can get a good look at the mice too.

The Rat5 seems so out of the loop compared to the rest.

I recently grabbed the CM Storm Recon. Very happy with it.

Consider the Roccat Kova [+]. I just got one and it's really comfortable, loads of customization and it only had to send 35 quid to its makers.

mouse is a personal choice, you have to choose one that you feel comfortable with

personally i'd go with the corsair, although i really love my steelseries kana

I'd go with the m65 over the m60, they are the same price and you get the beefier sensor to boot and imo it offers a middle ground between the somewhat plain Razer and the craziness that is the R.A.T.

Naos 5000 gets my vote, the other mice are good choices though. For comfort you can not beat the Naos, the R.A.T comes close to the Naos for comfort, but the Naos wins hands down.

They all have pretty much the same laser so performance wise they are near enough the same.

I am using an MX518 for 4 Years now. Yes you heard it right, my mouse is over 4 years old and still works absolutely fine. I have never had any issue with it at all. The software from Logitech is nice as well. If my mouse breaks i will get the G400 which is basicly the newer version of the MX518. I dont get the point on spending about 100 bucks on a mouse. Mine cost ~ 40 and i played competetive CSS with it.

I think it's all personal choice.

I have a deathadder as I like the shape of the MS Intelli Explorer over the Logitech MX 500 shape.

If I was getting a new mouse I'd probably either get another Deathadder (have 2 atm) or a Steelseries Sensei.
I only run my deathadder at 1800dpi 1000hz.
I replaced my original Deathadder 1800 with a Respawn but still only run it at 1800dpi.

If you have a chance, try a few different mice before deciding.

I also use teflon tape on the bottom of my mice for more slide.

The longest lasting mice I've had are: Razer Diamondback (5+years), Deathadder 1800dpi (5years + still working), Deathadder Respawn (bought over 2 years ago and my current mouse)
I had a MX500 that lasted 6months

I think the mouse choice also depends on what type of grip you use (Palm grip, Claw grip, Fingertip grip).

Best examples are on the razer website: http://www.razerzone.com/mouseguide/ergonomic

Looking at a review for the Corsair M60
Single keystrokes cannot be assigned for holding down
Unintuitive button config; poor documentation
Macros cannot be reassigned to different buttons
Software playback mode does not work in all games
Confused identity between palm & claw grip
Mouse3 broke in one week of use

I like the Deathadder best. Mostly because it looks the most like a traditional mouse.

I'm not into all of these new fangled ones.

I own several mice because I have a mouse fetish. :D

The Deathadder gets my vote off that list as it is ultra comfortable. The SteelSeries Sensei Raw is another outstanding mouse. Its a little smaller than the DA but still super comfortable and the most accurate mouse Ive ever used.

The Logitech G9 might be my alltime favorite though and its the one Im using now. Theyre discontinuing it for some idiotic reason so get one quick.

Anyone have any experience with the Kone XTD?I read the review on here it seems like a great mouse has everything Im looking for but Id like to hear from anyone thats using it a while before getting one, I had a RAT before and that didnt last, dont want to make the same mistake again
