Hi guys,

Well, my old trusty Nvidia 8800 GTS 640MB has decided to die... Upgrade time!

What would you guys recommend for a budget up to 200 pounds (top, would prefer less really).

My only need really is to have the best FPS (I love fast responses and no FPS drops) in class running at 1920 x 1200. Counter Strike Source will be the game played most of the time.

GTX460? Not sure, please give me some ideas

Give it the old Delia Smith mate. Get it in the oven. My 8800 Ultra turned its toes up to the daisies recently and since being Jamie Olivered it's been kicking ass ever since (what? two months now?).

Any way, I would reccomend an update and as the guys have said if you insist on Nvidia then the 460 is the way ahead for mid level gaming with SLI 460 as high level. From early benchmarks they seem to beat out the 480 for all out grunt.

What we need is Stepy to follow the protocols and get us some real world benchmarks. We have some for the 480 so it would be amazing to compare.. Stepy, step up my son !
