Which motherboard and CPU?

Ok, thanks for the advice. It's decided then, I'm going for the i5 4690. Not the K-version, just the 4690 as you guys told me to do.

I'd be stupid of me to ask for advice and not follow it, so I'm going to do what all of you told me.

I'll update this thread to let you know what pc I've bought.

No worries dude and yes, the non K version, since you're not going to overclock, there's no reason for it.

And that's what this forum is about, advice, help and so on... then it's all up to you to decide what you want to get dude, it's your money. All we try to do is just give you the best possible advice we can, from the information you've provided us with. For all means, you don't have to go with the i5 4690, it's up to you. It's simply the best bang for your buck, according to us :)

I mean, I have an i7 4790K, and I don't even game much lol... I just got it, just because.
I don't even overclock... yet. I might in the future, hence why I got the K version, but the money spent on this, in comparison to the real world use etc, it was a total waste of money. I'd be better off with your i5 4690 to be honest dude... so there's that and this is where I can give you my advice from, from my personal experiences :)

I'm looking forward to hearing what you get and what you think of it once it's up and running and glad to of been a help as Chrazey said it's what this forum is all about, enjoy your new build! :D

I appreciate all the help. I really do.

As I said, I'm going for the i5, save money and get, not immediately, an SSD. I think I'm going for a 500gb SSD. A friend of mine has a computer store and he gave me this laptop (for free) to work on as long as I don't have a pc. :D
He sells Samsung SSD a lot. And according to him, it's a good SSD.

I have been thinking to learn how to overclock. :D

If the price difference between the k and non k i5 4690 is not too big, I think I'm going to get the k-version. I'm not sure yet.

I have decide to go with the i5 4690. Not the K version. I'm also getting the MSI GTX970 Gaming 4G.

What I've ordered so far:

* ASUS Z97 Pro gamer

* Corsair Vengeance Pro Series, DDR3 1866, 2x8GB

* i5 4690

* MSI GTX970

I still have a Corsair 1000W PSU and a 500GB HDD which I'm going to recuperate for the time being. And probably get a SSD in the future but not just yet.

I'm still wondering if I should ge a new case or keep the old standard case.
