Which Keyboard?

Don't really know where to post this but since it's for a new build I'll put it here. So I cant decide on which keyboard to get out of these 4 based on price for performance.

2nd and last seem similar with a £20 price difference and I'm liking the 2n, 3rd and last one's based on reviews but which one could you's recommend based on price vs performance? SO I CAN DECIDE!

Different people, different uses; besides the Cyborg listed which I'm unfamiliar with, you can't exactly buy a bad or best performing keyboard.

If I was face with the above four options, I'd probably pick the G110 out of the two Logitechs as I prioritise backlit keys over the expense of the info screen, and 12 macro keys is more than enough for my uses. For SteelSeries, I'd rather go for more basic SteelSeries keyboards without all that interchangeable keyset business. And the Cyborg has macro keys on the right edge of the keyboard, I guess it's useful for lefties.

Hmm looking at the steeleseries board, it doesn't look like it's worth money unless you want to use the interchangeable keys feature so I would say no to that one.

Secondly, do you use a lot of macros? Otherwise I would probably say to go for the G110 instead of the G510 to save the money. That would be my choice out of those three boards (first link is broken).

However, personally I do a lot of typing so I like kb that types well, as well as for gaming.

So I went with this, it has mechanical keys which are much nicer to type with and there is an audible click when the is actuated (50% down).

Mechanical keyboards may not be for everyone though so have a look at some videos to hear what they sound like

Looking at a review now and I probably will just no with the g110 plus it has blue led's which would go well with my white colossus

Also for mice which would you's recommend out of the G9x or the G500, im leaning towards the g500 just now but what would really be better?

It depends on how you hold the mouse, to determine what mouse you get really. The G500 is a nice mouse, but after a month or two the mouse buttons creaked really bad and it wasn't a smooth click motion.

Have you looked at any other brands such as steeleseries?

Yeh Think I'm going to go with G110 and a G9x, my friend has a G9x and he says its the best mouse he's ever owned so I got a good review from him for my decision.

@SPS - I just looked at a few decent priced mice and those came up and I'm rather happy with the choice

For your mouse I wouldn't want to swap my G9x for anything, I find it bliss, but I do have short fat fingers and a huge palm so it's the perfect grip for me.

If you want a gaming keyboard, go find a quality mechanical one. Mechanical are the best keyboards on the market for gaming.

This is the one I have: Steelseries 6GV2

The SteelSeries 7H is the same thing but with the handrest and USB and headphone jacks at the top.

I honestly don't see the need for macro keys. But if you really want macro keys + mechanical, get the Razer Blackwidow. That's the top of the line model, so there are cheaper ones.

In regards to a mouse, you can't take anyones advice. It all comes down to your grip and what utilities you'd even use from the mouse. For instance, I don't use mouse buttons other then the scroll wheel, so I just got myself a simple SteelSeries mouse. There would be no benefit to me buying a 12 button mouse, if you know what I mean. Then you basically look for what grip you use. Claw grip, where you use your fingers I find is a lot better with ambi mouses, where palm grip I find works with specific shapes, right/left.

TL:DR - Mechanical keyboards are the best on the market, the Logitech keyboards are overpriced. After using my friends Razer mechanical keyboard, I went out and bought one within a week. Think of it like the SSD of the keyboard world.

Ilove my G9x Ihave a large hand and find the wide grip suits me and I use a G15 keyboard and its really robust when I get my new rig soon im going to go the G19 keyboard, but like has been said you've got to try them first if you can to see what suits you.
