hey guyz.
im thinkin of getting a new grfx card to replace my current 6600GT.
id like to stick with nvidia, and im not an avid gamer so im looking for resonable performance for a resonable price (about £200)
basically what i want is a grfx card that will allow me to put the grfx in most of the latest games to max (or near max) with a resonable fps (about 30-70).
i was recommended the 7600GT, i was thinking more 7800GT (7900 is a tad too expensive atm...maybe i shud wait until the DX10 cards come out so the price drops on the 7900GTs?) or say sod it and just get another 6600GT and SLI em?
at the end of the day, i play jedi academy on multiplayer as my most common game (so my 6600GT is perfect for that), but i just want a bit more oomph in games like FEAR, the godfather, farcry etc etc etc as i can only get mid range grfx for those.
i use a CRT monitor with a max refresh rate of 75, so i dont really need UBER HIGH fps (75 max of course, but 50-60 is quite nice to have especially when those massive explosions bring the fps down slightly).
would much appreciate some suggestions and tips.
