Which fully modded mobo wins the race?

Ok here's another question... If I were to pick up a mobo, any mobo, which one dominates the field after it's been completely vmodded. I'm talkin vcore, vdimm, vdroop, vfsb, vmch, the works. I've actually heard quite a few good things about the AW9D-MAX after vmodding the crap out of it. Would it be worth it to pick up another one and vmod the hell out of it and then give it a shot? Or is there another board out there that does extremely well with an array of vmods?

Thanks in advance for your help. I really need to get this board flying. I have the cooling, the power, the everything except for a motherboard willing to cooperate. Really makin' me mad.

Yeah I hear that's a pretty sick arse board once the vmods have been done.

After talking with some guys at XS it looks like the P5B Deluxe is the best board for FSB with some vmods. Gonna give it a shot and see what I can make of it!

I've taken a long look at various sites and yep the P5B seems to be the best with some vMCH mods as well as vDroop mod and vCore. Personally I dont think the VDIMM does much but others have said it makes a difference. I know my RAM works best at 2.1v

Now if only a few more members were more hardcore!

The new feedback I'm getting from the XS folks is that the FSB wall on most P5B's actually lies with the processor, but they have said sub-zero usually counters that so no probs there. The consensus seems to be that the P5B even without mods is damn good. So before I vmod everything up I'm going to put on the aftermarket coolers I bought for the NB and SB and then give it a shot. Maybe I won't even need to vmod it, we'll see!

I'm pretty sure I've lost my soldering iron, flux, solder, and all of that too so I'd need to go and buy the whole works again. I've found the perfect VR's @ mouser.com if I do end up having to vmod everything though.

lawl, already bought the P5B I'm afraid Going to keep the AW9D around as a backup, or it might just be it that I end up vmodding the balls off of and trying again after I test the P5B, hehe.
