which card should I get...?

Just wanted some advice into which graphic card I should buy? The ones I were thinking about are...

GTX 560 Ti (SLI), GTX 570 or a GTX 580

I would say two of those are good options, the GTX 570 and the GTX 580 would be the good options.

The GTX 560's in SLI would no doubt be great but it leaves you little room to upgrade, it would make more sense to buy either a 570 or 580 (depending on budget)

That way in a year's time you can always slap another one in there.

Also if you are installing 2 cards right off the bat you have card scaling to deal with, but if you put all your money into one card there will be no wasted performance.

I have a Iiyama Prolite E2473HDS 24inch monitor with an ATI Radeon HD5450 512MB card. Date of purchase June 2011. Each time I scroll up or down the text has a shadow tinge in red, this only happens during movement. Has anyone any idea as to what's happening. My other thought if the worse comes to the worse and I have to buy a new card what are my options. The gaming aspect is not important so a good reasonably priced card would be the answer. My thanks in advice.

thanks for the reply DrBoomstick, my budget is around 400 max, The games I will be playing will be Flight Sim X, CCS (and a few other FPS), rFactor (and a few other Simulation Games) or and the wife is one of those sims 3 addicts... Im not sure if the sim type games us sli, Im still not sure asto which motherboard ill be getting... its either the maximus IV or the Sniper 2 (This would be the better of the two as it leaves room to upgrade)

always go for the best ya can afford and add later if needed. look at the EVGA 580 with 3GB of mem

I have a GTX570 and play FPS max settings no problem. I also use iRacing (similar to rFactor if you don't already know) and I can run that on max with about 60 cars and still get frame rates up in the high 80's to 170's depending on the track that I'm racing at. Also SLI will definitely give you a boost in the sims, and is also necessary to run 3 screens, at the moment anyway...

My opinion is to get the 570, especially if your not sure if you want to spend all the money to get a 580
