Which Card is better

Hi im not sure is this the right thread.

Im getting a graphics card for free and have two options.

1. 256MB ATI Radeon HD 2600XT PCI-E

2. 246MB GeForce 8600GTS PCI-E

Which one should I pick

Ok so heres the deal. Im getting the 256MB ATI Radeon HD 2600XT PCI-E with my new Dell computer but I didnt want it. So Dell are giving me a refund on the card but also letting me keep it. Should I now sell the card and buy the Nvidia 256MB Geforce 8600GTS PCI-E card.

I want an all round good card that will play all DX9 games on very good quality and be a good 2D and windows performer.

If there is not much difference between the ATI and Nvidia cards is there any point changing?????

I cant afford to go for the high end card segment (ie. 8600GTX) so GTS is the max

lmao Dell do things like this and it cracks me up.

I`d just keep the card m8, put the refund in the bank. If u`r not suitably impressed with the card, by all means sell it.

Sell the 2600 find a few more quid and get yourself a 8800GTS 320MB they arent too expensive now i dont think
