Which 19" TFT Monitor

Ok, I am going to need a TFT monitor, so I asked someone for an opinion out of the eight I had picked out.

So there I was waiting to bid. Then I looked on google, and found loads of different ones. The AL1916W, AL1916Was, AL1916Ws etc and I have no idea which is best.

I am looking ideally to spend £70-80 max on this monitor. Can anyone help me deduce which model is the best. I cant find any useful info on the interweb...

I would never buy an ACER anything (past problems) and especially an ACER over EBAY, lol.

I like Viewsonic but there are other brands people here enjoy as well.

To me a monitor is like speakers, you need to see/hear them to know if you like them. I think it would be better to get one used from someone local to you thats going to something bigger. (that way you can see it before you buy it)

samsung are the best, but if you cant aford the best, get somthing decent, example ....

Scrimp/steal/sell/beg an extra £20. Your options at £100 are much MUCH more varied.

£20 is nothing really. Do some work for your rents, sell an old games console you don't use or somthing.

Or even get a job

i had a Samsung, ghosting/backlight bleeding

returned it for another, same thing

i got an LG , very nice, beautiful. 22" btw

before i had a Acer 17", no problems, cheap affordable and gets the job done. i like acer

It is cheap ish (apparently), and according the reviews very good.

Im going to order this soon, so any final opinions would be great.

Also one thing i have been thinking about will 19" be bad/ok/good for games, dvds etc ?

Will this monitor do my rig justice?

19" Wide, 1440x900, ur 1950pro will be fine
