Hi! I need help with getting maximum airflow in my case. Right now i got a fan on the upper back and one in the bottom front. I have 7 total fan slots in my computer. 1 in the back, 2 on the roof, 2 in the front and 2 in the bottom. Now im plannning on buying 4 noctua 140mm fans for my case. And i was wondering, where should i place theese for maximum airflow. Ive already planned to replace my old ones already, so you got 2 fans to place somewhere.

You should probably have more air coming into the case than going out so you don't have negative pressure inside the case. but since you have all the same fans you could run it balanced. so have 2 in the front and then 1 on the back and 1 in the roof. Out of interest, what case do you have? Because you don't normally fit 140mm on the back?

Actually i did not know that. I have Fractal Design R3 black pearl. Well its 120 in the back, 120 in the front and 140 roof/side.

Well the reason im wanting good airflow is cause im buying a MSI gtx 580 twin frozr and from what ive heard it dumps air inside the case.

okay, but if ur getting 4 140mm u cant have one on the back? my advice is to just try to get as much air comming in as you can and then have a some exhaust to get the hot air out

How about having 1 140 mm blowing on my graphic card? is that a good idea with a card that dumps air inside the case? Or should i just go with front/back/top?

Lol I got 7intake 2exhaust, and one on side panel cooling hdd and ssd also back of motherboard
