where is the best place to download linux redhat

to install it do i have to burn it to a disc then boot of the disc or can i just install it and set it it dual boot off windows?

i unstall it as you would windows but u may want to REPARTITION the free space on your hardsik to create a large enough EXT2/3 partition for the linux files (aoubt 5GB the bare minimum and u will also have to make a Linunx swap partition (@ least the same size as your ram)

i personally use partition magic 8 to repartition my drives

REDhat linux is a large downlaod @ around 3 CDs may i also sugest retreiving Fedora Core 3 which is basically uptodate Red Hat linux;

Alternativley if u just would prefer to test linux download KNOPPIX a 'LIVE' linux cd no installation is required (also available from linusisos)

NOTE partitioning is a potentially very dangerous thing only do it if ou are totally confident in yourself;
