Obviously depending whether you are from US or UK this will differ but where do you buy your gear from??

mainly mine is from www.ebuyer.com but they are a bit dodgy. hoping to pick up some good UK suppliers here, reps up for grabs!! :yumyum:

Well I mainly buy from:

www.kustompcs.com

They are undoubtedly the best customer service in the country - anything wrong or you want tech advice, then they are your people! Excellent company.

Also:

www.aria.co.uk

www.chillblast.com

sometimes I buy from pcworld component centre:

www.pcworld.co.uk/pccomponents

Although I've had issues with getting stuff delivered/allowing me ot pick it up from the carriers.

I have bought from www.overclockers.co.uk

but I got cheap as poo RAM and it was very badly packaged, and the site has lots of bad reviews. Cheap for Graphics cards tho (haven'y bought one from there, but they are cheap!)

And finally I have to admit to occasionally going on www.ebay.co.uk for some stuff! wouldn't advise it too much tho! :nono:

I would go for Kustom PC's as they are competitive prices, but worth buying from due to the best customer support/feedback/advice I've ever had. And VERY quick to respond!

OH, and while I'm here, BIG UP to BFG Tech (www.bfgtech.com) as they have 24/7 tech support and lifetime warranty's on their GPU/mobo's!

Im out in the boonies. Shoot around here they want like 1,000. for a 486 thats how backwards they are.

So, I have to get all my gear and my software online. Gear I get from NewEgg.com and Xoxide.com and software I usually get from gogamer.com

I get all my crap at newegg, the best ever. I've shopped at zipzoomfly and mwave for some out of stock parts as well. I get games where ever's cheapest.

I have used:

www.overclockers.co.uk

www.ebay.co.uk (You can get a great circle going by buying new kit, then selling it on when a newer version turns up using eBay.. less cash lost per upgrade...)

And of course PC World. It's funny when they wonder what you're talking about, that happens sometimes at the ones I visit. Amazing training, I want to work there.

Yeah I often find myself arguing with the techie dicks who work there who think theypwn the place. Yes I am aware my computer has a BIOS. Yes I am aware of what to do to install a SATA drive. Yes I do know that this vid card aint worth sh!t but you're overpricing it. Yes I do know more than you even though you are "fully trained" lol.

I often give people advice in there and the little spotty scrotes in there just look at me with one of the following looks:

1: What the fu** is he talking about...I haven't a clue

2: He knows his stuff, I'll sod off and have my Maccie D's in peace (not often)

3: I'm gonna get the manager and tell on you!

Anyway, if you're in the UK try:

www.kustompcs.co.uk

as i said - the best in the UK.

Or try www.chillblast.com

or of course:

www.aria.co.uk

or even

www.novatech.co.uk

Aria have very cheap monitors, if anyone ever wants one! :D

My laptops from novatech :)

novatech is more mainstream computing, they are lacking in any real hardcore stuff for enthusiasts.
