Where can I find BitFenix Alchemy 2.0 cable kits?

These: https://www.bitfenix.com/global/en/products/premium-modding/alchemy-2-0-modular-cable

They announced them two weeks ago and I still can't find them anywhere.

I contacted Performance-PCs (about the only mod shop left in the U.S.) and they said that the cables were just copies of the CableMods cables and therefore they won't be carrying them.

I have the CableMods, and I like them a lot, but these look quite different to me... at least in the pictures. In particular, the way the sleeve is over the wire insulation. it looks tighter as if the sleeve is extruded with the insulation.

I'd personally stick with CableMod cables mate, they look almost identical and I believe both sets of cables are made in the same factory.

What do you mean by the Cablemod cables not sleeving over the insulation? At the Cablemod stuff I have used is braided from end to end right into the PSU connector?

I didn't say the CableMod cables' sleeving isn't over the insulation. You completely rephrased what I wrote. :D But I can see why what I wrote was confusing.

I meant that the BitFenix sleeve over the insulation looks different. As in: The method or material seems to be different. Not that the CableMod sleeving isn't over the insulation; because it is. From end to end. It just looks like the BitFenix ones are tighter.

But that's the problem with pictures. Those could be renders for all I know.

Sucks when someone releases a product and there's ZERO information outside of the company's own website.

Ah, I get what you mean now. Sorry for the confusion.

I know that the old Bitfenix Alchemy extensions are made in the same place as the Cablemod stuff is, so provided that Bitfenix have used the same people again the cables should be more or less identical. Provided that Bitfenix haven't used a different braid.

Having used Bitfenix Alchemy 1.0 cables and Cablemod stuff I can say that Cablemod use a thicker higher quality braid, but I don't know if Bitfenix have improved their stuff with Alchemy 2.0.

The only advantage I see with the new alchemy stuff is that is comes with cable combs, though given that I don't know the price I can't really say if it is a good thing.

I'll have a search and see if I can find any prices or sellers.

Edit - Overclockers UK have them in stock.

Yeah... The old BitFenix Alchemy cables were nothing special. The CableMods were MUCH better.

I found that Caseking has them in stock. So I'm going to take a chance and order some. See if they're worth a darn. I'll make sure to post back with my findings.

Cool, it would be good to know what they are like compared to Cablemod.

Is there any notable pricing differences?
