WHats better Zone alarm or mcafee

Hey guys just curious if anyone has tried the new internet suite for 2007 (mcafee), if so is it better then the older versions and is it better then zone alarm??

Personally I think Sygate was the best freeware firewall until you had to pay for it but now its not so I suppose Zonealarm is the next best thing unless that is you are willing to pay for Sygate

Just get avast antivirus and sygate firewall. They are both free and work great.

I would suggest purchasing NOD32, it pwns everything else in the face.

AFAAFG I would give Sygate 1.5 thumbs up, decent choice.

lol i think il stick with zone alarm thought it bugs me when i put my firewall on high it wont let people send stuff on msn and it wont show me there dp so i have to leave it on medium damiit!!

I run ZA Pro and NOD32 AV....much better

I personally use ZA Security Suite on all pcs.

In terms of Virus/Malware protection, I`d never advise any1 to stick with 1 checker.

In the past I used to advise installing xxxx and use something like an online tester now and again. Most good online checkers have sold-out now tho.

Over time I have tried pretty much everything on various trials and now I stick with Zone Alarm, this one: ZoneAlarm® INTERNET SECURITY SUITE

It gives massive control and is not hogging like Norton products it updates very regular and I have never had a problem been using it on 4 PC's for about 6-8 months now.

Nod 32 is well great but you'll need a firewall as well, I just prefer to have the package by the same people, when doing a firewall test using the Zone Alarm I get full stealth and it is the only product I have found that does this.

The Norton package even fails it's own online tests!!

Mc Affee well that would be VERY low on my list, I have new unregistered unused discs here for Mc Affee sitting on the shelf along with a new unregistered AVG professional and a new Spy Sweeper, if you are keen on them I would sell either or all. But when I use Zone alarm it's not a good advert!
