I don't know if anyone has been following the Research In Motion hearings regarding the Blackberry's email connectivity softwaere which was evidentally ripped off from somewhere else and is going to end up burying the company.

So, when this phone dies, gets broke, or lost what should I replace it with? Nextel only offers blackberrys for a pda phone solution, the rest are pretty much just regular phones. Tbh I don't know if I could go back to a reg phone, this little berry just kicks so much ass I hate to have to abandon it!

Nextel did just release not too long ago the Moto i930 flip phone which runs Windows Mobile and has an SD card slot. Its the nicest phone in the lineup but it lacks a nice big screen and a qwerty keyboard.

Dilemnas I say, dilemnas!!

im sure somebody will buy the company wont they?

From what I've heard it will be the end of the company if the judge rules against them in this final hearing.

Even if someone does buy the company the blackberry software will have to be completely changed and it won't really be a "blackberry" any more :(

I guess I'll look in to the i930 and see if it would get me by suitably if I have to give up the berry.
