What PSU to get?

Dear fellow PC builders,

As this is my first build in quite a long time I just want to check back with you, whether the PSU I intend to get for my build is sufficient, not sufficient or perhaps way too overkill.

Specs:
------------
CPU: AMD FX 8350 - intended overclock
GPU: Gigabyte Windforce R9 290X
- also intended overclock

Cooling: Corsair H100i
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA 990FXA-UD3
RAM: 8GB - intended expansion in the future to 16 GB
SSD: 250GB
HDD: 2 TB

Also, there will be about 2x140mm and 2x120mm fans in my case, excluding the H100i, that is. Maybe I'll throw in some led lighting for good measure.
-----------
Note that I plan on maybe expanding this build with possibly a second graphics card in the future.

Since a lot of parts in my build will be Corsair (cooling, ram, case, etc.) the ocd-ish side in me demands that the PSU be Corsair as well.
Also I would prefer it to be fully or at least semi modular.

I was thinking Corsair RM 750 or 850 to be on the safe side, since I wasn't really sure how overclocking and overvolting + the additional cooling that will be needed and all that would affect the power consumption.

TLDR;
650, 750 or 850 Watts for the setup above + overclocking? What PSU would I need if I included a second graphics card?

Thanks guys

edit: follow-up question: even from the Corsair website I don't quite see the difference between the RM series and the HX series, other than the HX is a bit cheaper and slightly taller.
They are supposedly both especially silent, 80 gold and fully modular.

For the set up you have now you'll be fine with the RM750, if you want to go cross fire you'll want to go with the RM850 although if you want to go cross fire and have a quieter rig the RM1000 would be a fine choice.

+1 i'd say RM750 for one or RM1000 for two and that's a fair overkill. I'm sure a 650 and 850 respectively would be more than fine.

In response to your edit I understand that the HX series is over and is very much last generation Corsair. They have been replaced by the HXi series which are more efficient (Platinum) and use higher quality components than the RM seriesn thus making them a bit quieter, just a bit better power delivery and a longer life span which I believe is reflected in the warranty period.

Thanks for your help guys.
I've had another look around and have stumbled upon the Corsair AX 860 which costs about the same as the RM 1000. However, the AX is Platinum.

So I'll just pick one out of the two I guess.
Since the AX is 15 centimeters long instead of 18cm like the RM series of 750W and above, it would mean that I could fit another 120mm fan in the bottom of my case which would also allow me to slightly reduce the fan speeds lower the all around noise, so tough choice I guess.

Anyways - thanks guys, you've been a real help to me!
