what optical drives to buy?

I need a DVD-RW/CD-RW drive and also a DVD/CD drive - any particularly good ones to get atm? Anything to look out for?

pioneer or nec are the best.

but tbh it doesn't matter which drive, as long as you get some decent blank dvds/cds (imo datasafe are best i've used) there shouldn't be any probs.

I'd go for a liteon or plextor, something that can read and write sub channel data that includes errors.
