What is THE best mousepad?

Ok, all BS aside. I want to know which mousepad is simply the best. I've seen so many get good reviews lately. Glass pads, metal pads, heavy cloth pads, etc, etc. There's tons of mousepads on the market made for gamers, but I want the very best.

well id say icemat v2, but judging byt he fact that you have a heavy mouse, i would say that a cloth based pad may be better for you

Ye the cloth mats are great - but they were a bit slow tracking for my taste. Great in photoshop tho

i suppose i could always swap out some of the weights and lighten it up a bit. icemat takes the lead.

I use a Steelpad S & S with my Logitech G5 and it seems to work well, I know for one that my G5 doesnt work on glass because I tried it on my glass desk

As has been said before - Icemat

I've got the v2 (larger one) and am using it with my MX1000 - works flawlessly

only problem with the icemat is how to clean it, if anybody has tips, id love to hear them.

I use a nice white plastic kitchen cutting board. It has dimples and the plastic is slippery as heck, and cleans really well!

Actually, I bought 4 for a dollar each.

Works very well with my G7.

The Razer eXactMat gets my vote!!

I did have a func1080 pad which served me well, but the Razer pad is simply brilliant plus has a much better playing surface as well!
