What is dual raid?

Can someone quickly tell me what dual raid is please. Thanks.

You mean the Dual RAID stated as a feature of the DFI SLI-DR? That just means there are 2 RAID controllers. 1 is a Silicon Image 3114A which controls 4 SATA ports and the MCP itself handles another 4.

Ooooh, just found this and have a quick question:

Can you run dual RAID?

Reason I ask is that I have 4 drives (2x Hitachi's 250GB SATA2 and 2x 150GB Raptors)

Could I set both drives in RAID (1 boot and 1 storage) on separate controllers?

Hi M8 cannot see why you would not be able to, have the raptors on NF4 and the Hitachi on silicon set raido for both and then in coms just set to boot with the NF4.
