What are your expectations? Why?

Well, NFC has been officially ruled out.

Crack proof glass is impossible. The more scratch resistant, the more brittle. It's one or the other.

3D photography, nope.

Multiplayer gaming is in all iOS devices already.

What do i expect

an overpriced gadget that i will use for playing with whilst im at work bored shitless.

if your really lucky you might be able to make calls on it too :P

TBH I doubt most of that will be there. Faster connection 4G LTE i imagen will be there.

I know that I won't be upgrading from iPhone 4 though

Bigger screen and LTE. That's all about I'm expecting. I don't really want a bigger screen, but I'm switching carriers so will get a new phone.

It may get a little bigger, but I don't think it's going to be in the same league as the S3's screen. That thing's practically a tablet! Perhaps 3.7"-3.8", maybe a little more, but I really don't want it to get bigger - I love the size of my '4S.

or maybe it will have/be..

New A6 Processor (apparently runs twice as fast as the 4s)
4" retina display
8MP camera (1080p recording with low light mode)
7.6mm thin 18% Thinner
20% Lighter
Access to 4G

(confirmed specs) :P

im a bit let down by this, thinking of waiting for the 5S

but then again my upgrade is due in January so might just have to treat myself to a late xmas present

but the people spending the $1000 on them are the ones that rely on it sooo much,

i personally use mine for planning my life and keeping up with whats happening. yes i can do that with other phones but the iOS i love, wife has the S3 and i hate it, i had the Lumi thingy from nokia and played witht hat for 2-3 weeks, hated it with a passion.

its a prefrence thing

I think that since 4 came out, there hasn't been much of an improvement, but that doesn't mean its not fantastic. However, next time I might change for a galaxy.

I just saw a program that was asking people on the street what they thought of the new iphone5,
and gave them a 4s version , not a singlre person could tell the difference
