What do you do aside from being on a PC? (Not jobs)

I live in the mountains so I downhill mountain bike, dirtbike etc. It's a wicked lifestyle, skiing in the winter too. I do like to sit on my PC and game though :D

I volunteer at a no kill shelter, I'm a cat whisperer...I have a way with getting to angry cats. I like to tinker with anything. Do anything with woodworking and carpentry. Help people if I can. Due to health things it is limited what I can do anymore, but I take my time and get it done. I help folks, sometimes I just need to be there and tell them what to do, teach them so they don't need me. Went to my ex wife's Sunday and helped her with her lawn mower. She did the labor for the most part, I took my files and Dremel and sharpened the blade while she put on the new filter, changed the plug, changed the oil and scraped the mowing deck clean.

A local shop wanted $150.00 USD to do it, we did it for $20.00.

Addition: I was talking to my My Ex about this post, she asked if I mentioned cars, motorcycles and photograqpy. I said I didn't since I no longer have a motorcycle nor do I have a bad ass car anymore. Still, I do help friends out with theirs. I was looking at her mom's Nissan Sentra Sunday. I forgot too I'm one of the go to guys when the shelter wants pictures taken. I just have a Kodak 26X z981 now, I sold my sister all my Nikon stuff after D Day (my divorce 3.5 years ago).

Track days, remapping ecus, building and restoring hi-fi equipment, photography and a spot of mountain biking.

I used to do photography, play around with cars/bikes alot, more recently taking the gym alot more seriously

Mostly hitting the gym and jogging, studying right now as i'm doing my a levels (Pure Maths tomorrow -.-) and then i'll be most of the time at the beach after the exams, oh the advantages of living on a tiny island :)

Reading, writing, helping run the local Cub Scout group and the odd occasion down at the gym. Most of my time is currently spent on studying though, been pretty much non-stop since January so got right out of habit with the gym.

Moving to a new area soon so hopefully that will help restart my gym routine.

well its hot as hell here so now i do lots of things.swim mostly.and in the evening hang out in the hood. but nothing special like a hobby

Mainly hit the gym and write/record music.

Here's an example of the latter, the guitars sound kind of crappy, but I gave it all of 40 minutes recording it yesterday.

I've a few random covers here:

I think I prefer the original ;)

I play piano and guitar, and was in a Ukulele band for a bit as well. Play county tennis too, although haven't actually played in a couple of months as I'm lazy.

Remapping ECU's, cool .. How do I deactivate the immobiliser on a 306 hdi BOSCH EDC15C2 ? what cable and software do I need to buy ?

I got a tuned EDC15C2 of a mate who got backended and want to stick it on my car but cant until I deactivate the immobiliser. People want 150 euros to this and I have to send it of.

I'll admit I'm an unfit POS tbh. I have to take a lot of medications for my conditions and they make me tired and give me horrible joint pain.

Things I like to do though :)

1. Read. Last week I read War of the worlds. Brilliant book can't believe I'd never read it before. I also like to read about serial killers and plenty of psychological stuff.

2. Spend time with my fiancee. We have a life where we are together 24 hours a day and I wouldn't rather be anywhere else tbh. She's a wonderful woman and I could spend the rest of my life with her and it still wouldn't be enough. We both like to game so she plays Stronghold Kingdoms whilst I play (well, usually) on the desktop for more demanding stuff :)

3. Spend time with my cats. We have a F8 Bengal girl called Rapunzel, a F2 Savannah girl (called Woollie) and an old ragdoll girl called Milly. Milly is so sweet and affectionate, the other two are just crazy bastards.

4. Spend time with my family. This is something that's always been of utmost importance to me. More so since my grand parents died when I was in my late teens, leaving me the rest of my life to wish I had spent more time with them. Barely a day passes where I don't think of them tbh they were wonderful human beings.

5. Maintain and clean my computers. I'm severly anal about this tbh. I have terrible OCD for it.

6. Watch documentaries and factual televison. Mostly stuff like how it's made and Masterchef. I don't watch anything fantasy.

7. Walk/sit on/visit the beach and or quiet places.

So that's about it really. Alien likes to live a quiet life.

Not much tbh :p

Playing ice hockey in the winters, going skating in the summers. I mainly just hang with friends, they're the most amazing thing in my life :D

Oh, and I listen to music...
Every
Moment
Of
The
Day! :)

Tried to reply to your PM but your inbox is full so I'll put the reply here.

I was probably a bit too generic in saying remapping. At present I only work on saab trionic ecu's. (if it were a saab ecu, it's a simple case of opening the map in the software and unchecking a program flag then reflashing the binary data back on to the ecu) If the bosch system is anything like the saab system, you can reflash the ecu using canbus. This requires a lawicel canusb cable which is probably around £130 now. You may also be able to do this via OBD, but i cannot be certain of it and there is also the possibility of using BDM if the ecu has this function built in. As for software, you'd probably need to scout around the net and see if there is any available. I know there is a community for the bosch motronic system on ECUproject.

Sorry i can't be of more help.

I've uploaded a different version since, made the guitars sound a little better, and sped it up a tad. I'll never get it to sound as good as Scott Joplin himself no matter what I do though. :(

Although it is a much better piece for the piano admittedly, which is something I've really got to sit down and learn, since I've been meaning to do it for ages.

I go to the gym, read, write reviews, play videogames (mainly Hitman: Absolution atm :p) play badminton and hang out with friends. Oh, and I like to swim.
Now that I see it, I have quite a busy life :p
