What cooling mechanisms do I need? Do I need any other parts?

Please see my rig to be below in my sig.

I believe it comes with two fans in the case. Do I need more? Will i need to venture into any other cooling methods?

I notice you can buy seperate cpu coolers. My e6750 ha a heatsink with it, is this sufficient?

This may be a bit off topic in this forum, but basically I have ordered the parts, do I need to order any cables, heat absorbers etc

I.E I will have all those parts soon, to get them into a working rig do I need anything else?

as long as you dont OC a bunch the stock should be fine for now. The cooler on the video card is VERY GOOD.

as long as you keep the case free of clutter you should be fine for now.

One thing I would HIGHLY recommend is cutting out the centers of the case where the fans mount. Those tiny holes will restrict over 50% of the air trying to enter/exit

I havnt got the case yet and it is difficult to picture without it, but your pictures illustrate it well, basically allow the fan direct access to the air outside? Will it not damage it aesthetically?

It wont change the structural integrity of the case at all (I hardly ever get to use big words, lol)

The front is more of a challenge as the plastic face needs to be removed to cut the hole in the metal (dont cut the plastic front) You will need a little help for that but I promise it is worth it.

Ok well basically with regards to that, I will wait until the case arrives, and then look into it. I definately dont want to damage the looks of the case, but would like to improve the cooling efficieny.

One thing that I am curious about is the CPU heatsink. Is that ample for cooling the cpu, or do I need something else? Ideally I dont want to spend any more money

The stock one is fine as long as you dont OverClock much (especially raising the voltage)

If you just use it stock it will be fine. (especially if the case has good airflow to begin with.)

Rather than asking 'is x cooling solution sufficent' it would be better to state your intentions

As Mark was indicating, running your CPU at its rated speed/voltage the stock cooler does a sterling job. Start to overclock and the stock cooler soon faulters.

The arctic freezer 7 is a cheap (£15-£20) and effective CPU air cooler which will give you some headroom to OC your CPU.

If you want a better CPU cooler, the best air cooler is the ThermalRight 120 Ultra around £40.

wouldnt it be better just putting the fan there once you cut the grill out instead of putting a new grill. for the extra air,just careful you dont put ur fingers in there

The round grills dont restrict flow much and are REALLY cheap. But the tiny holes that come with most of the stamped steel cases sometimes can block 75% of the fans air causing air to just swirl around inside the case.

Leaving the fan completely open is best but you have to remember small kids, pets that dont know better.

And the arctic freezer Mr Smith recommends is my favorite cooler. Plus it directs the warm air to the back of the case instead of pushing the warm air at the mobo. here is a pict of one I painted
