Weird rare single clicks from case. Corsair 750RM

Hello.

From time to time, mostly under idle , I can hear a very particular click sound coming from inside the case. It never persist, it stops after single "click like" sound. That sound is made by psus relay? From what I hear now, the click come from the PSU part of the case. What is most awkward to me, it almost seems like its the case is making those clicks. Like if pressure was accumulating in a certain point, and after reaching its peak, it just dissipates in a process hearable by the disturbing click itself. It sounds like if there was, for instance: a match or something similar hitting the side of the case from time to time. Im not by any means disturbed or worried about this sound, as I hear it since I first launched this rig, but... I just wanna know what might it be. Or maybe that is PSU noise from time to time? I am not sure what causing that noise from time to time. Can somebody help me? I am using Corsair 750RM and case Cooler Master Centurion 590.

PC is:
Asus Gtx 980 Strix
8gb ram Vengeance
Sabertooth Z79 Mark2
I7 4790K
1 TB WD

Can't see how it could be possible these days, but it wouldn't be a static discharge?

HDDs have a habit of doing it when they are on there way to silicon heaven, PSU relays only click when they are powered on/off it's a charge/discharge safety feature.

HDD going sleep/poweringdown, check your battery setting and under advanced, find hdd power off when idle or seomthing along those lines, set to 0 minutes so it never powers off, should be fine, but ya it could it on its way out

I'd say HDD going to heaven, an very old one of mine used to do it, eventually I think it started to slow down as well.

But do check the power features first to make sure its not going to sleep after being idle for 10mins or so.

I'm just hearing a popping sound not too frequently in side my computer. Maybe 1-2 times per day. So it will be hard to record. It can be just a plastic on the case crackling?
When the temp outside vs inside are different temps then the plastic can pops ?
It can be metal or plastic expanding and contracting because of the heat?
I am thinking that can be just case itself, or i am wrong.

That it could be but at least acknowledge the advise given to you already and try it

I use 3 old HDD`s and 1 of them has a tendency to make a few weird popping sounds and the occasional clunking, so I think that your problem is a tired HDD.

But you never know it could be something different ;)
