SilenX has released a prototype watercooling block for the 8800 series cards...and man is it a whopper! I wonder just how much extra weight they'll add to your rig with SLI? Who's up for one or two upon release? Feel free to comment...

And not to forget that BFG already has 3 GTX's out which come with full cover waterblocks. Available with 3 different size inlet/outlets.

A great way to avoid voiding your warranty on a brand new video card if you're going to watercool it anyhow. Not that it really matters, we're not to big on warranty voiding as we usually void the warranty on everything we touch, muaaha.

I spent about and hour drooling over those BFGs. They need to stick some on the GTS' IMO and tha would be the linch pin.

Nice, I hadn't seen the SilenX block! The BFG waterblock cards all already sold out, and now going for $250 over the G80's MSRP. Tigerdirect is also carrying two of them.

You know this after years of experance working metals huh?

Its a prototype. They're sorting out the design.

Well if they are testing make it out of copper so it is a good test. :p Mostly kidding.

Aluminum + Copper in one loop = oxidation. That's why. Not because of "thermodynamics," price, ease of CNC work, etc.

So basically that block with any worthwhile radiator will cause issues galore.

I have issues.

I don't need any more drama.

I am waiting patient for the 2nd generation G-80 gpu.

That will give me time to become a waterboy and shed my fanboy status.
