Am soon to purchase asus striker II 780i.

Any recommendations on northbridge water block??

Cheers:wavey:

Including a Tri - SLI compatible block? :o

I know they're bringin out a N/B block but wasn't 100% on the S/B??

A heads up for anyone with a Striker II.

Standard WC for NB and NF200 chip will not fit! This is due to the NF200 being located between PCI-e1 and PCI-2 instead of next to the NB. The block referred to only works on the reference design of nVidia.

For the NB you can use an EK S-MAX, fits perfectly, though only two mounting holes are used instead of the provided four.

For the Sb you can use the NB/SB1 block from EK.

I'm going to see if I can passively cool the NF200 chip by glueing a Zalman NBF47 on it after cutting off some parts hence there's not enough room to put it there and there's only one mounting hole

The EK set referred to will also be reference design. They have yet to decide if they are going to make one for the Striker II. It might help if you all send some mails :)

My workaround for the NF200 chip on the Striker II:

A Zalman NBF47 NB heatsink with two rows of fins completely cut of and 2 rows cut in half to my EK FC88 g92 block could fit, mounted with thermal adhesive tape and I'll be mounting it with the 1 screw as well in case the tape should let go it doesn't fall on my other gfx card.

Haven't been able to heat test it though, but I'd be suprised if it wasn't sufficient.
