Watercooled Silverstone Fortress 02

Hi all, new to this forum! What better to introduce myself with some pics of my newly assembled rig. Watercooling the Fortress 02 was easier than anticipated. I fitted a Black Ice SR1 560 in the bottom and it's a super tight fit. It only required me to remove the harddrive cage by popping a few rivets.

Specs:

i5 2500K

560ti

4GB Corsair Dominator

Crucial c300

Samsung Spinpoint F3

Corsair HX750

Silverstone Fortress 02

Also, I would like to add some UV goodness. Any difference between regular cathodes and uv leds?

Welcome to the forums mate, great looking rig you have there, being an owner of a FT02 myself, i always wondered if it were possible to water cool in one as it was more suited for air cooling but you have pulled it off nicely, well done:)

Very Tidy as well and i'm liking the blue and black theme

I think if my desk was set up like that I'd spend more time lookin' at my rig than at the screen. Very Nice.

I agree with Sheroo, I would hardly be able to get any work done with that window next to my monitor hah, very slick rig though man. That radiator fits like a glove in that case.

Thanks for the nice comments all. And yea, it can be a little distracting with the window to my left.

But no one answered my question yet! I would like to add some UV goodness. Any difference between regular cathodes and uv leds?

Nice clean build mate! I Like it!... I like it alot.....

UV will spoil the look, the white light is nice.

Sexy beast.

No UV, and I'm unfamiliar with the kind of light emitted by cathodes. So many classy parts in the build, don't need tacky fluoro.

That's an awesome rig you got there, please dont spoil it by adding UV or tacky looking cathodes lol, I made this mistake before and it really does make builds look cheap
