I havent really been following AMD and CPU landscape closely since Intel was just dominating. BUT if this chip is around $500/£500, damn! I hope this forces Intel to get off their back side and give us reasonably priced CPU's with atleast 6cores already

Watched most of it. At least they did proper apples to apples tests with their CPU. They could do well doing the same with their GPUs tbh.

Very impressed. Still don't think it will be for me given the amount I dumped on my 5820k but hey you never know

I just think that right now if I want 3.oddghz and 8c 16t I would be wiser buying the Ivy 2670 for my X79 board.

Not to bad when it's beating(or at least tied for gaming) an $1100 CPU in addition to it's huge power efficiency advantage.

The claims are it was a stock 6900K, but we'll never know they could have been down volted and clocked, using Blender was a little meh since it does run better with compute but still side by side it was eye opening. The best part for me was the sweet graphics performance of Battlefield 1...... those Titan XPs were glorious :lol:
