Independent game developer, NetDevil, has announced that it is working on a revolutionary new title called Warmonger: Operation Downtown Destruction, built around the AGEIA PhysX processor. The apocalyptic, first person shooter will feature innovative fluid and cloth-based effects enabled by AGEIA’s PhysX technology. Will this be the push start that AEGIA needs to revive what seems to be an extremely flagging adoption and coding for its PhysX processors? Has AGEIA had it's day? I think the problem with Ageia is they wernt given a chance, and it was way to exspensive. The only reason SLI lived in this sense is because people believed in it and it grew. Nobody liked paying 300 bucks for a card that didnt do much cause nothing supported it (Cough NIC Bigfoot Killer NIC heheh). If this starts something i believe a PCI-16X version of the card will come out and will be cheaper. Heres hoping beause i believe in this technology, yet i hate SLI/X-Fire. If it sucks, then it sucks lol.

I believe at some point, soon, we will see PhysX processors onboard with the GPU. The G80 GTX PCB certainly looks big enough to house the chip + memory with a slight redesign.

I say the first company to collaborate directly with Ageia is one smart puppy. G80 + PhysX or R600 + PhysX onboard would be SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET.

That would be, but i dont see it happening. I believe Ageia is greedy and wants all the money for themselves, thats why the card is 300 somethin bucks. If this game is a hit POSSIBLY the PhysX cards might come down.
