Hi guys, just wondering if anybody has encountered high vrm temps whilst overclocking.

Im Currently on 1100 / 1575 / 1200mv with my 7950 and although my temps on the core are maxing around 75c my vrm temps are super hot - 95c max whilst gaming in crysis 3.

If anybody knows of a mod to cool these vrm's then I would be gratefull if you could share your knowledge..

Cheers, Mat

tbh, watercooling with a full coverage waterblock is the only way to do it with
quietness in mind. you can use an aftermarket air-cooler, but the noise of those
multi-fan units can get a bit "nerve-grating".

specifically, just VRM temp control is down clocking or upgrading cooling.

the VRM is actively cooled, so without a new physical solution only way to improve the cooling is to up the fan speed!

or as Deano said, Watercool
