So bit of a strange one this one, may I ask you to cast your minds back to when I first introduced the secret "Bengals" system I was putting together for VonBlade. I kept it all 007 top secret right untill I put it live on the site and thats when Bryan first saw it.
Thing was though, Royal Mail Rugby Team scored many tries with it while it was on its way to him, we never said anything but the whole chassis got twisted and basically ruined. You can imagine how VB felt let alone myself.
So thats what brings us here today, with this new rig Ill simply call VonBlade.
As Im typing this he still has no idea about this one..... I wasnt happy last time but dispite people thinking Im a millionaire with all the stress of the site changing hands etc last year and jobs not being secure I could risk spending my own money on another rig for him.
So youll now be thinking well why the flying f*ck do you spend you own money on something like this for him? Well the relationship VB and myself has goes far beyond colleagues, tbf Id say I have stronger feelings for him than my brothers! After many nights BOTH up working late on reviews (we quite often double team stuff just to make sure we meet deadlines etc) speaking daily about general site shit, family stuff, all the stuff close mates talk about. Well you build up a close bond.
Bryan like most of you is a 110% PC geek/nerd/nut job. He loves kit. Simple as. Now again people dont realise that most of the hardware we play with goes back, theres no budgets for endless hardware anymore.
So when the site finally got signed over to me I knew I needed to get him his rig finished.... FINALLY.
I needed something that could hold a 360 rad for watercooling, work with the same Bengal tiger theme (Cincinnati Bengals are his fave NFL team) and also be able to be kept dust free and quiet.
This is what we came up with.................
So if you see this thread read ALL of above, because you have seen it before VB. Be sure to post and tell him what you think of the case.
It will be getting adorned with a Gigabyte UP7 (obvious choice) and a 3770K in the not to distant future. I need Bryan to see this though because I need the GTX590 I put in his last one (GPU's dont grow on tree's) and even now that card still smacks out some awesome scores! Plus with it watercooled there really is nothing to worry about.
There we have it. TTL out.
