Been updating some of the software on my rig tonight and when I had a play around with afterburner beta 16, I noticed that there was a voltage slider that wasn't there before.
Current card is a 690 under water, which up until now, I understood over volting wasn't possible because of that famous 590 video where the card goes up in smoke. All you can do is change the power limit.
So what's the crack now? Is overvolting ok all of a sudden? Is it recommended?
Can someone shed some light on this please?
Thanks
