VOB to MPEG/Avi convertor

Has anyone got a good, freeware program for converting VOB files to MPEG or AVI? The few I've tried either miss massive sections of the VOB files, or simply don't work

I used to use a program called WinAVI. I dont know if it will still work, but it used too...

One other thing, if your 'borrowing' the files straight from a dvd it may have copy protection of some kind on it.

GK has FAR more options than Auto GK but is also much less user friendly .. personally i prefer Full GK

DVD Decriptor and Auto Gordian Knot work well for me (for testing purposes of course).
