applications and Windows Vista soon. There was an unexpected delay in

That isnt a Beta version he is running I dont think, its the real thing !!!

I tried Office 2007 final release the other day but it still seems alot more overloaded than Office 2003.

Can't seem to get Nod32 to work properly at the mo.

Can't seem to get Nod32 to work properly at the mo.

It came out Friday on MSDN (well they put it on there earlier than that).

NOD32 works with Vista x86.

By x86 do you mean the 32bit version?

Am I the only person that sees vista as skinned XP with a widget program? I don't even like the skin.The only nice advancement it will have isn't in play yet... the DX 10.

Kinda, it's an improved version of XP, I'm after it because it doesn't crash.

I've known XP to be pretty stable for me. Crashes now and again, normally because of unstable clocks. Either way, can't justify the money, at least not if they would port DX10 to XP.

I think it's a driver problem on my laptop, but it crashes way too much. Vista takes the drivers out of the kernal, so if the driver falls over, it doesn't take the system with it. I probably wouldn't get it, if I wasn't getting it free .

I like it MUCH better than XP. The installation was MUCH more user friendly too. THe system, I feel is fast, and much more productive. Vista wins!

And yea, the office and vista are final release through MSDN.

I love the new Media Center sooo much

Also, I like how if something is in your taskbar, you can point in it and it displays what the window contains.

Also, I haven't had to install any drivers yet. I am still using the system as is, with no drivers installed. Everything was fully supported and IMO, that impressive.

Yeah the second I installed Vista I knew it was a winner and I still stand by that statement. I believe it's by far the best Windows OS since its inception. I'm gonna load it up as my permanent OS tonight mefinks.

When I pressed format during the installation, I was on the phone with a friend who had just finished installation of RC2, I looked back at my computer in about 20 seconds and the format screen was gone so I was like wtf went wrong?! Then I looked at the amount of space on my disk and it had already formatted, that's unbelievably quick for a full reformat compared to XP.
