R Raven New member May 15, 2006 #4 nicks, that cpu doesnt NEED a heatsink atall idle at 0.1w tdp and thats incredibly low and max 3.5w tdp at full load which is much less heat than a harddrive produces. the 1.5ghz 775 modell has a max tdp of 7.5w via is superior to both amd and intel when it comes to low power consumption and power efficiency.

R Raven New member May 15, 2006 #6 ye via has really found their place in the cpu world. their cpu's are amazing when it comes to performance vs heat production and excellent for portable computers. also good and quiet for htpc use.
